Cloud Break is a production company headquartered in Edinburgh, Scotland. Working across a wide range of striking original content delivered cross-platform, the company seeks to explore contemporary human-centred narratives told through innovative storytelling, digitally skewed and with a dash of comedy (when appropriate, naturally).

Working with UK and international broadcasters and producers, we develop content across a varied slate, from short form animation and documentary, to broadcast television and narrative features. We understand the growth potential of digital formats, and leaning on our many years combined experience in delivering short form content we’re driving a slate of exciting factual and fact-ent projects. Latest work include a BBC documentary following the life of a teenage TikTok star, and a BAFTA Cymru nominated international co-production comprising two films looking at the Covid vaccine roll out in the UK and how it might be influenced by online misinformation originating in the US. We are also VT suppliers to BBC’s The One Show.
