Story: A short form, festival-release documentary following the final stages of the initiation process for Gill, a new arrival to a small community on a remote Scottish island. Residents of Erraid live in deep connection with the land, the weather, and each other. Everyone has moved there for different reasons but they all share the desire to live close to nature and feel a strong sense of belonging. Will Gill achieve her goal of being accepted as a full-time resident at the end of her six-month trial, or be forced to return to her old life on the mainland?
