Covid, y Jab a Ni nominated for BAFTA Cymru!

We’re absolutely thrilled to see that our pandemic documentary Covid, y Jab a Ni has been nominated for a BAFTA Cymru in the News and Current Affairs category. Commissioned by S4C the film explores covid vaccine hesitancy in Wales, examining the spread of misinformation online and tracing its roots back to prominent anti-vaxxers in the US.

The film battled numerous hurdles, not least in terms of producing a documentary with two teams filming on both side of the Atlantic during the pandemic, but also in finding that important balance between solid journalism and ensuing controversial opinion isn’t shied away from, but rightly challenged.

The film was directed by Gewnfair Griffith, who also took part in a BAFTA panel to discuss the making of the film and the challenges we faced. Huge congratulations to all the other nominees, we’ll see you in Cardiff!
